- Since 1966, the W&L Basketball Award recognizes outstanding leadership. Recent recipients include: Mike Hegar, Alex Starr, Mark Croughan, Mark Lamendola, and Sam Wise. This year’s winner: Sam Wise.

- Our season ends without an at-large selection into the NCAA tournament. The 2022-23 W&L Generals finished 18-8 (11-5 ODAC). After a 1-4 start in the ODAC, we won 10 of our last 11 games to end the regular season, culminating with a senior day win over then #16 Hampden-Sydney.
- W&L falls short in its first ODAC Finals since 2009. Rob DiSibio (‘24) and Drew Harrell (‘24) first W&L players on the ODAC All-Tournament team in 15 years. Congratulations to Hampden-Sydney, worthy champions of the best conference in the country this year.
