    Bottom line is she treated Trump like normal, legit candidate, not one who tried to blow up our democracy and faces 91 felony indictments. Not just irresponsible journalism. Downright dangerous journalism to legitimize this guy- in the name of having a “ talked about” premiere.

    I’m past point of understanding why coverage of most abnormal candidate in US history is so bent on normalization. But there’s no argument anymore. They’re doing it. Even tho I’m sure they recognize disaster will befall their country if he’s elected. The why utterly baffles me.

    They knew for SIX hours that seven ppl were dead at the scene. And waited until 10 pm to give any info at all, then no questions. This is not public service. It's CYA.

    Facts matter? Just today: 1)Trump says US pays 80% of NATO budget; it's 22%. 2) Amazon has sweetheart PO deal; they pay same bulk rate as everybody else. 3)PO loses billions on Amazon; PO MAKES billions from Amazon. 4)Pollution regs crushing auto industry; record sales for yrs.

    Serious question: what justification was there for Oval Office address? Not one thing had not been said before. Networks should feel totally burned. Shouldn't they come out+tell WH: That was a fraudulent request; forget asking for platform for your political posturing ever again?

    Why do intelligent journalists believe they can treat him like any other pol? It’s like questioning pull-string doll who always lies+never shuts up. Just get rote nonsense-worse, toxic nonsense. Non-stop confrontation is only way; they won’t do it bc rest of GOP will boycott them

    This poor man ‘s grief means nothing to her or other gun fetishists. They laugh at death- other people’s. They see mass slaughter as the “ price of freedom.” Senseless Gun death is our biggest national shame since slavery.

    My brother passed away today. Taught me how to hit a ball, catch a pass, take a punch. Master at organizing Bklyn St. kids+later a Park Ave law firm. Father to 3; "Papa" to 4; brother to 2. Cruel fate cheated him of some good yrs; we still had a lot of great ones. Love you, Rich.

    Writing this is profoundly humiliating, but can you imagine even THINKING this? Praising the peaceful transfer of power--the bedrock of American democracy--is now a "political" viewpoint? It can ONLY considered so among ppl who don't believe in it.

    Death toll over 3k today. More than 9/11 or Pearl Harbor, both events so devastating they became life markers: "where were you when..." Will ppl remember where they were when they heard 3k died of Covid on 12/9/20? And what the hell happened that so many of us simply don't care?
