    I want a darker, grittier batman movie. I want it so dark you literally can't see what's going on in any scene. I want his voice pitched to an incomprehensible seismic rumble, leavened only by the squeak of his leather fetish wear.

    I won't shame anyone but please, if you're writing fantasy and are desperate to give it some medieval flavour, remember the following: Thou = You (subject) Thee = You (object) Thy = Your Thine = Yours Some big games still get it wrong - I know I'm a pedant but it drives me mad!

    I did once write a story in which the old lord of a large estate "dies" and a couple of months later his lost sailor nephew rolls up from abroad, curiously un-tanned, bearing a striking resemblance to his uncle, and all the servants just kind of play along indulgently...
