- 1/2 Delighted to say I’ve had a successful kidney transplant! Thanks to the wonderful & selfless anonymous donor who’s given me another chance, & to the world class transplant team in BCH for giving me the opportunity to write this post. I’m feeling great - back on BBC soon!

- Probably the most emotional sporting moment I have ever witnessed. Special times for @DarrenClarke60 as he brought @TheOpen claret jug home to his boys.
- I can’t quite believe the devastating news about William Dunlop who lost his life at the Skerries. He was one of the nicest, most genuine people you could ever meet. My thoughts are with the Dunlop family.
- Yessssssssss!!!!! Graeme McDowell qualifies for @TheOpen at @royalportrush this summer thanks to his finish at Canadian Open.
- William Dunlop reminded me so much of his uncle Joey. Quiet, unassuming & a real family man. He was a young man of few words but he had a great sense of humour & was an amazing talent on a bike. My heart goes out to my friends the Dunlop family.
- 2/2 Also thanks to surgeon Tim Brown, all on level 11, the entire nephrology, theatre, dialysis & interventional radiology teams, plus the fantastic nurses & healthcare staff who looked after me 24/7. Siobhan Reilly nursed me 30 years ago for my 1st transplant & again this time!
- Rory and Shane leading the party! 🥂
