    Story time. 2009. I was 23. I was one of the first documented cases of H1N1 Influenza (aka “Swine Flu”) in WI. I worked out 5x per week. Played ultimate 5-7x per week. At healthy. Have no immune disorders. Healthy blood pressure. Everything. I spent 5 days in the hospital.

    So, I got divorced awhile ago. My legal name changed back to FENNIG in 2018. Yet, every time it pops up incorrect and I correct someone, the first assumption is, "Oh, did you get married?" When I say, I got divorced, I get super judged. All I want is to be referred by MY name.

    2017, age 30, I came back from an ACL tear to play on the Beach Masters Women’s team I get to play for Team USA almost 2 years after I tried out, hoping to get an invite for Masters, and making the Women’s team instead. It’s never too late to do the thing You’re never too old

    Seeing lots of tweets about turning 30. (Including non-friz folks). Y’all, being 30+ is the best. I have continued to get better since being 30. I am out here LIVING. And I was not doing that in my 20s. And also, I am playing some of the best frisbee of my life at 35.

    I can’t believe I live in a country that thinks that people’s access to guns is a more important right than than bodily autonomy. I’m constantly reminded that my expected purpose is to put babies into the world, even if it’s against my will, and that I shouldn’t think otherwise
