    cannot emphasize enough that sex workers, and only sex workers, saved me from my traffickers. not an anti-trafficking org, not a domestic violence shelter, and definitely not the cops who were helping my traffickers. it is not hyperbole to say i’d be dead without sex workers

    sex workers believed me, helped me hide and find material resources, taught me how to hustle without being surveilled by my traffickers, held my hand literally and metaphorically as i regained control over my body after years of sexual trauma and exploitation. they saved my life

    The digital war on sex workers and LGBTQ people is, and always has been, bipartisan. Dems will not save us. They’ll keep pushing bills like KOSA to target the most marginalized in our society, and will suppress political dissent in the process. They want us demobilized or dead.

    everyone is experiencing what sex workers went through when fosta/sesta passed and all i can say at this point is to focus on opsec + risk assessments, find your people online, connect across platforms, download signal, and be prepared to organize ‘offline’ to avoid surveillance
