    Flash Back So around 10 years ago our 🌱pitch was struggling & was in need of some surface aeration Well with money tight at the time I decided to try & build something to help This ended up being an absolute game changing piece of kit⚽️🌱👌😊 #Grassroots #GroundsKeepersLife

    So I’m absolutely buzzing as today it’s been confirmed that I will be joining the match day grounds team for the 2023-24 season at Luton Town fc ⚽️🌱👌😊 Well what a nice way to be marking my 10th season in grounds keeping 😅 Grassroots to the Premier league🌱👌😊

    🗣️All grassroots clubs, Its been another difficult💦week So if your groundskeepers advised you to postpone this weekends games,Its not because they’re thinking about themselves They are thinking about your pitches & getting the next 3 weekends games on them👍 #GroundsKeepersLife

    Some grassroots players crack me up “why you calling it off today, the games not until tomorrow”🙄😅 They pay £5 subs a week & are probably expecting under soil heating 😂⚽️🌱👌 #Grassroots #GroundskeepersLife

    I had a problem with compaction on a pitch I was maintaining about 4 years ago,I built this piece of kit at a cost of £150,It now plays a vital part to my pitch maintenance/aeration program throughout the season🌱👌#MakeADifference #Innovation #Groundsman #step7 @the_iog @BedsFA

    So it was around 7years ago that I started my quest to try and help improve the pitch at a club I was managing at,It was a role I found very rewarding, So today it’s no surprise that I am very passionate and proud to be a volunteer groundskeeper who loves his pitch #GroundsWeek🌱

    So after putting my heart & sole into volunteering for over 10 years in groundskeeping at grassroots, I now feel it’s the right time for me to step aside & take a well earned break Well after overcoming many challenges along the way, It’s nice to finish on a High👇📈⚽️🌱👌
