    Breaking: German government just decided to deliver 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 "Stinger" surface-to-air missiles from Bundeswehr stocks to Ukraine to support the country against Russian attack. "The weapons will be delivered to Ukraine as soon as possible," spox said.

    Scholz: "I was always sure" Putin would "use energy supplies as a weapon." That's a bold statement considering that he was Vice Chancellor in the previous gov that maneuvered Germany into Russia dependency. He's always knew it better but was overruled by an omnipotent Merkel?

    Apparently Macron, who wasn’t known for speaking German, took extra classes to deliver his memorial speech for Wolfgang Schäuble “auf Deutsch.” The result is quite impressive! Now it’s up to Scholz to learn some French and show similar dedication to Franco-German friendship 🇫🇷🇩🇪

    It's incredible. In my interview last Friday, I asked Defense Min Lambrecht why Berlin doesn't deliver at least armored vehicles like the "Dingo" to Ukraine — as France does. Lambrecht insisted 🇩🇪 could not spare a single Dingo. Under pressure, she now agreed to send 50 [Thread]
