There were four back to back shark attacks this July 4 at South Padre Island, TX. Texas Game Wardens confirmed. Authorities believe it was one shark in those four attacks. Authorities keeping people out of the water.

- Replying to @vonPreysingGame Warden Captain Chris Dowdy said two of those were bite victims. One of those, the husband of a woman bitten had to get stitches. A fourth person was “grazed” by the shark with minor injuries.
- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says it’s investigating damage to bird nest sites after the June 6 SpaceX launch. Coastal Bays and Estuaries Program set out trail cameras and documented damage/disturbance to 9 nests. The birds are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act
- Border wall construction halted today. One week ago, this area was very busy with construction when former President Trump visited. Wednesday President Biden signed an executive order to defund projects and “pause work.”
