Strategas is again proud to recognize our top-ranked analyst team in the 2025 Extel U.S. All-America Research Survey (formerly Institutional Investor). We are humbled by the continued recognition of our research. @StrategasRP
Historically rare (and bullish) to get > 90% of stocks above 50-day moving average. Short-term overbought, but usually found coming off major market lows. Next few months anyone's guess, but another bullish momentum signature to be sure.
We've been vocal $ARKK bears, but even the weakest trends can rally sharply in mean reverting markets. Nasdaq 100 had two 50% rallies in 2001... both went on to make lower-lows, but tested the faith of the shorts along the way. We'd back away from shorts right now...
Simple rule has guided us well over the yearsโฆ when youโre below a downward sloping 200-day, โsurprisesโ are often to the downside. @StrategasRP
55 of the 55 analyst that cover $AMZN have a "buy rating" on it ... complete agreement on a stock that is a) trading below its 200-day average; b) a regular guest on our daily relative low list; and c) hasn't made any price progress in 13 months --- hmmmm. @StrategasRP
Humbled to announce that for the 6th consecutive year, @strategas has been ranked as the top macro-only research shop on Wall Street in the annual Institutional Investor Research Survey - with ranked analysts in Technical Analysis, Washington Policy, Strategy, and Economics.
Humbled to announce that for the 5th consecutive year, @StrategasRP has been ranked as the top macro research shop on #WallStreet in the annual Institutional Investor All America Research Poll - thank you for all the support of our work.
Missing for weeks was stress in put/call ratios and any evidence of capitulative or indiscriminate selling. Those boxes are now checked. Gold being sold sharply reflects this too. In the final phase of a decline, no place to hide. Probably close here. @StrategasRP
From todayโs client video โฆ no reprieve for $QQQ vs. $SPX pair - continue to position as if this relationship has put in a big top. @StrategasRP@strategasasset
A correction isn't complete until the best ones get hit ... the "average stock" is actually getting better, while the big Index weights are now the drag. Exact opposite setup as this Spring/Summer @carlquintanilla
