- 15y ago I started my work at Charite Berlin Neurosurgery #BCN. I sincerely thank my outstanding team for this anniversary surprise and for the great time they allow me to spend with these gifted individuals. And I am grateful to those that accompanied and supported me.
- This week, Peter Schmiedek, an outstanding Neurosurgeon, father-like mentor, and friend passed away - we will miss him and won‘t forget.
- Microsurgical embolectomy for embolic M1/M2 occlusion. Great option if EVT access fails (here due to direct CCA/ICA injury). Door-to-reperfusion time 180min. Wonderful team effort!
- Grateful to see Berlin Charite Neurosurgery #bcn to be listed among the world’s most prestigious Neurosurgical Departments. - Today @felicitas spent a day with us. This 12y old travelled 800km and is among the most brilliant teens I have met. Since she is 10y she reads/writes about the brain and watches NS @YouTube videos. She is completely into the fascination of NS. This is the breed we need!
