    🌊 Scientists from #UWA and Japan have set a new record for the deepest fish ever filmed and caught! 🐟 They discovered a snailfish at a depth of 8,336m in the Izu-Ogasawara Trench and caught two more from 8,022m during a two-month expedition. @minderoo bit.ly/3U1KZhU

    Today we mourn the loss of Hon. Dr Bob Hawke, LLB, BA, DLitt. Hawke was the Guild President in 1952 and the state’s Rhodes Scholar in 1953. UWA awarded him a LLB in 1951 and a BA in 1955. Upon his election as PM, UWA also honoured him with an Honorary Doctorate. Vale Bob Hawke.
