Using data from Global Data Lab, @iam_ayooyewumi showed PO improved Health Index by over 16% & Life Expectancy by over 10%, compared to Tinubu & Fashola who only managed improvement of less than 4% (HI) & 3% (LE). How was Obi able to achieve 4X more with less fund? Walk with me

By not giving a f**k. Buhari just didn’t give a f**k. It turns out the more you show concern for Nigeria and try to treat them with respect, the more accountable they hold you. If you ignore them and treat them with disdain, they leave you alone and cry to God.
How did the APC do it? Jonathan was under way more pressure than this. He spent his entire Presidency on egg shells.

Omo, Peter Obi said “if they are blocking your account you can imagine what they are doing to me.” He further said there are people who no longer pick his calls because they are afraid of being persecuted for associating with him. Man has probably being enduring these silently.
I almost shed tears with what Peter Obi said here💔 “This’s a country where only criminals survive, if you’re honest nobody calls & wants to do anything with u. In other countries loyalties wins awards but here you’re criminalize and those who stole are actually given the honor”

Peter Obi wasn’t loved by everyone in Anambra. He even says it. You think when he says people were complaining to his wife and he would tell her that he didn’t promise anyone happinesses but good governance, you think it’s a joke?

After Obi said he left N75 billion in cash and investments for the state in March 2014, the International Society For Civil Liberties & Rule of Law (Intersociety) decided to go and verify what was left on the day he left office. Their investigation revealed he left N86 billion.

You elect stupid people and you get stupid outcomes. When the UK wanted to ban single-use plastics, they gave over a year notice so businesses can adjust. In the poverty capital of the world, a cocaine-sniffing cafone will just wake up and ban a product with immediate effect.

I remember one of my friend complaining about Peter Obi back when we were in uni because his dad had retired and PO didn’t allow him to leave with government cars. He spoke of his selfishness. Unknown to him, his complaint endeared me to PO then.

He deserved it. Chose a good-looking p^ussy over pragmatism in a time of war. Men put their lives and the lives of their sons on the line to help him avenge his father and he couldn’t sacrifice love for pragmatism, even if only temporarily.
Who's a character that didn't deserve their fate? I'll start:

In 2003, saying you could become governor of Anambra without the support of Emeka Offor, Arthur Eze, or Andy/Chris Uba, was like saying you could become governor of Lagos in 2007 without the support of Tinubu. But Obi led a people revolution and did it with a 6 months old party.

If LP will win Lagos on Saturday, it will be at the court. @GRVlagos get lawyers now to advise on evidence they will need. LP will need to focus on the following: 1) Getting people to vote & documenting the vote. 2) Forget IREV. Get the result in real time & collate each ward.

A common criticism of PO at the time was that he used local contractors for roads & some were not as good as others. To mitigate sub standard work, he had them sign 5 year maintenance bonds. But it was also about encouraging local businesses/employment and helping them skill up.

Many forget Peter Obi won an election in Anambra in 2003, against federal might and while up against one of the most ruthless political players (Chris Uba) in Nigeria who was backed by OBJ. This was in 2003 when election rigging was at its peak.

Okowa hasn’t paid pension since 2016. Nigerians has to learn to employ compassionate leaders. Peter Obi said at the end of each month, the first thing he does is to remove money for Pension and Gratuity because those in their old age have the least earning opportunities.
