My family is unaware that they're eating vegan tonight, haha. Sambar and dosa. 👌

Welp, it's been about two months of non-stop work. But here it is. Low carb diets and health. ~200 studies across ~50 biomarkers, stratified by carbohydrate intake, duration, and weight loss. I'm going to go get a bottle of Kahlua and watch a movie. 🥂🍿

I'm vegan. There, I said it.

Spotify killed piracy for music. Netflix killed piracy for movies. Steam killed piracy for games. If there was an affordable, subscription-based service that allowed for complete access to the scientific literature without all of the jankiness of Sci-Hub, I'd sign up right now.

Hey, @RobertKennedyJr. Why would you want to replace the seed oils in Americans' diets with fats like beef tallow, with the goal of "making America healthy again", when virtually all of the available data suggests that, if you did this, chronic disease outcomes would worsen? 🤔

In the real world: • Seed oils are healthy. • Red meat is unhealthy. • Grains benefit gut health. • Soy doesn't feminize men. • ApoB causes heart disease. • Squats and deadlifts are safe. • Plant nutrients are bioavailable. • Vegan diets don't degenerate you.

1/2 Meanwhile, those products were so massively successful at my local grocery store that a dedicated section (that is starting to rival the meat section) had to be created. Oh, and it's almost always cleaned out, while the meat routinely ends up 30-50% off.

Buying meat while claiming to be an animal lover is kinda like burning down a museum while claiming to be an art lover.

Just got caught up on The Orville, season 3. Holy fucking shit the writing is incredible. Every episode is a masterpiece.

"What happened to that squirrel is an absolute tragedy! We need to end the state-sanctioned killing of innocent animals!" *said as they eat their favourite bacon double cheeseburger with chicken nuggets* 🤡🤡🤡

One of the more difficult aspects of being vegan is eventually losing respect for nearly everyone in your life. Over time, you begin to realize that most of those around you are actually just bad people.

"Feeding a vegan diet to children is wrong because they can't consent to it!" Literally true of any diet you feed your children. 🤡

    Imagine being proud of this.
