Some cities youโve heard of, others you have to discover...
#Norwich is the independent city with a big heart. This is our showcase of the city that weโre lucky enough to call home. Youโll soon find thereโs nowhere quite like it.
Welcome to our city. Welcome to Norwich.
Wow. The first ever @BritishVogue cover to feature non-celebrities stars @UEAGrads (2018) and @UEA_Health midwife, Rachel Millar. The July issue celebrates the millions of people who, at the height of the pandemic, helped to provide essential services ๐

Congratulations UEA Class of 2020! Despite the obstacles you've done it - you've graduated.
Be proud of what youโve achieved in the past few months and years. We - the UEA community - certainly are proud of you.
UEA condemns in the strongest possible terms todayโs sentencing of our International Chair of Creative Writing, Tsitsi Dangarembga, and stands in solidarity with Tsitsi and her right to peacefully protest. Read our full statement: bit.ly/3BVre2L
Technicians at UEA are now producing 500 litres of hand sanitiser a day to support #NHS partners - thanks to the support of local distillery @Adnams ๐ #COVID19ow.ly/P38w50yV7UW
Our brilliant staff producing vital hand sanitiser supplies for our hard-working local NHS workers got a thank you visit from the Vice-Chancellor this afternoon ๐
If your organisation can help provide any materials to help keep production going, please email [email protected]
Norwich has been named as one of the @thesundaytimes 'Best Places to Live in the UK in 2018'!
"A firm fixture on our list, this compact city honours its pre-industrial glory days while embracing arty, urban cool - some are calling #Norwich the new Notting Hill."
Incredible work happening at UEA right now ๐๐๐
Thank you to everyone helping to support local communities during this challenging time! #covid19UK
It's our anniversary! โจ 56 years ago we admitted our first cohort of 87 students to the present-day University Village.
Denys Lasdun designed UEA's core buildings, including the iconic Ziggurats, with the first permanent building opening later in 1966.
Congratulations to our Security team who won โSecurity Innovation โ Initiative of the Yearโ for campus therapy dog Boomer at the recent annual @AUCSO awards!
There was no ceremony but Boomer (and Dave in our Security team) asked if he could wear his tuxedo suit anyway.
