If you're wondering why I blocked you when we've never interacted before, it's because I saw you being annoying in someone else's mentions and decided I didn't want that for me, hope that helps

once I asked my mom if she thought my dad was autistic and she said no then she started telling me a story about how she learned morse code because my dad went through a period where he would exclusively communicate via morse code FOR MONTHS, and I just stared at her

the idea that people are faking severe chronic illnesses en masse for attention is hilarious to me because anyone with severe chronic illnesses knows that you lose like 95-100% of your friends once you become too sick to fake being well 24/7

When we talk about fatphobia, many seem to think the issue is that fatphobia makes fat people feel insecure. No. The issue is fatphobia is a system of oppression that works to marginalize & eradicate fat people. It literally KILLS US. This is not an exaggeration or hyperbole.

One of the most frustrating parts of ADHD/executive dysfunction is that if I have ANYTHING I have to do that day, like go to an appt, I can't do anything before it. It doesn't matter if it's at 4PM & it's 9AM now. I can't do "productive" things. I can't even do FUN things.

Look, my friend's grandpa is a semi-Karen but in the best way possible? He got an $80K surgery bill completely forgiven because he asked for an itemized bill & kept calling daily about them, like $200 for a scalpel & he was like, "so where's my scalpel? I want my $200 scalpel."

anyway yeah, he was 1000% the most classically, obviously autistic person I've ever met in my entire life every textbook description of autism was modeled after him, I swear

[CW COVID-19] So what you're telling me is that remote learning for disabled students was possible all along then—it was just deemed too inconvenient until the ableds needed it? 🙄
BREAKING: The University of Washington, with more than 50,000 students, is closing classrooms and moving to remote learning amid the coronavirus outbreak. nytimes.com/2020/03/06/us/…

Productivity tips from nondisabled people are like: - just don't have chronic pain - just don't have chronic fatigue - just don't have ADHD or executive dysfunction - simply obtain a new body and brain

An actual thing a vegan said to me, a Disabled vegan: "Disabled people can still be vegan. Having a disability doesnt really affect you digestive system" PLENTY OF DISABILITIES AFFECT YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM Why are they always so loud and so wrong? It's free to not be like this

Basically they got so annoyed by his constant calls asking about his bill and his scalpels, etc. that they literally just zeroed out his bill so he'd leave them alone? US healthcare is bullshit.

Me: “I have a chronic illness. Chronic as in permanent as in I’ll have it for the rest of my life. The rest of my life meaning, yes, the rest of my whole entire life.” Biotypical people: “Hope you get better soon!” Me: “Thanks, I won’t.”

thin people love to post "BMI is bad because it says I'm fat and I'm not fat 😡😡😡" instead of "BMI is bad because it's anti-Black, fatphobic, and created by life insurance companies"
