Today @UNFPA started distributing dignity kits with menstrual hygiene & sanitary items to women refugees from #Ukraine in #Moldova. With so many lives disrupted, the kits help women maintain dignity, self-esteem & confidence, and the ability to cope amid this humanitarian crisis

All over #Ukraine, women continue to deliver -- often under the most difficult conditions in makeshift bomb shelters like this one at a hospital in Starobilsk. This conflict must stop now. The people in Ukraine desperately need peace & women must be able to give birth safely.

A moment of joy amid the devastation caused by last week's earthquakes. These quadruplets were born yesterday via C-section at Al Fardous clinic, a facility in NW Syria supported by @UNFPA from Gaziantep/Türkiye & partner SRD. The mother and all 4 babies are safe & healthy!

Just now at the #Türkiye-#Syria border: two @UNFPA trucks are being loaded with life-saving reproductive health supplies for north-west Syria. 62,000 women are pregnant in the region amid the devastation caused by the earthquakes, and 7,000 will give birth over the next month.
