    Am I the only person to see a parallel between the UK establishment witch hunt against Boris Johnson, and the US equivalent against Donald Trump? Both are hugely popular with the electorate for trying to deliver what people want. Elites hate them.

    Could someone please explain to this tone-deaf Labour government, especially @RachelReevesMP and Sir @Keir_Starmer, that the state pension is a social contract that they simply can't break. We paid for previous generations of pensioners and expect current workers to do the same

    Interesting: @BBCNews is running nothing but stories about what the EU is doing in respect of Russia ~ with absolutely no reference to the fact that they are days behind the UK in acting. Hardly surprising, though, as the @BBC hates the UK, the Conservative Government & Brexit.

    I'm saddened to say that after 10 years as a subscriber to @thetimes, I've just cancelled my subscription (very simple online). Yesterday's attacks on the PM and government over coronavirus (concerted with other MSM outlets) simply compounded their Remainer politicking.
