BREAKING: @ucl_ucu academics voted for “Intifada until victory” and a “mass uprising” against Israeli civilians. This is a horrific incitement to violence and terror. We have written to UCL’s Provost to express disgust at the motion & call for urgent action in the wake of this.

It is simply appalling for students to refuse to play a Jewish football team. The boycott of Jewish sports teams was once thought to have been confined to the sewers of history. Enough is enough. Antisemitism cannot continue to overshadow the Jewish student experience.

Students from the Arab Society at Leeds University refused to play against the Jewish football team as part of a regularly scheduled fixture. "To us, this is a blatant act of antisemitism," the Jewish society says.

This is simply unacceptable. @nusuk have completely disregarded the impact Lowkey’s performance, and his presence, will have on Jewish students. How are Jewish students supposed to feel included in the wider student movement when NUS choose this figure to perform?

New: Rapper Lowkey to appear at the NUS’s annual conference at end of month. Also appearing at the conference is Labour MP Zarah Sultana. Earlier, Lowkey said MSM has “weaponised the Jewish heritage” of Zelenskyy to “stave off” inquiries about far right groups in Ukraine.
