- Replying to @mallocmyhearti once got hired at a startup that could accurately estimate what kind of person you were (age, sex, how you were moving, seated or standing, other informationl) based solely upon your phone's acceleration data. they used it for real-time anonymous ad-placement—didn't stay there.
- is it too late for me to transition this account into more posting about scientific computing, low-level programming and systems architecture? just wondering
- here's my spin-based neural computation framework so far. it computes semi-classical approximations of quantum mechanical spin network systems like Ising-Kitaev models. it has a neural network for predicting the systems energy with physical loss functions.
- praise from Cæsari cannot believe it. we did it.
- im so grateful to everyone for your interest in this project. we really have something very special for all of you and it's so wonderful to be able to make scientific progress in such a public way! the code is very real and it's almost ready for you to start using and developing!
- i cannot believe it. we did it.
- Replying to @yacineMTBlol tbh most quantum physics researchers are hardly "dedicating their lives to the edges of reality", but people get scooped all the time. it's a surprisingly broad field with quite a few people working on different problems. would be hilarious tho, hope it never happens to me.
- study geometric encoding in singular learning theory ncatlab.org/nlab/show/sing…
- i just pushed a simple lightweight classical MNIST solution to my github that achieves >99% accuracy in about 45 epochs. it's written entirely in C with no external dependencies and includes optimisations for ARM NEON. check it out. it's very minimalistic.
- i have just dropped the early demo of the Semi-Classical Random Number Generator on github. it computes non-deterministic and irreversible quantum random numbers. it runs fast enough to be used for real-time media generation and cryptographic applications.
