Biggest problem w/ the world today IMO... everyone’s a victim. It’s always someone else’s fault or role or whatever. At some point, someone has to take responsibility. People today - pass it to the next guy. One common trait amongst successful people. They take it and run.

One consistent theme I’ve seen - as velocity increases, small mechanical changes have much bigger implications. You’re taking a more finely tuned machine & influencing its timing at much greater speeds. Think transmission w/ two gears vs. seven. >Capacity requires >Sequencing.

Post Alert: Check out my newest video to see why I don't love conventional deadlifts for pitchers and my favorite alternative. (Hint: Skill-specific development is king, and our training needs to compliment that process.) Link to full video in comments!

F*ck your resume, what’s your story? Mine's tattooed on my soul. Only the daring will come find out what that means. Thanks to @TReklaitis, @TreadAthletics, our coaches, our athletes for everything. It’s just the beginning.

7/ A fair warning: People will mock you for doing it at first. They won't understand what you're doing. But just wait. A couple years later, they'll reach out to you to ask how they can get a job like the one you have. And you'll tell them... "Start by writing your story."

One thing's for sure... you want to be around people who make you smarter. People who bring new perspective(s), experience(s), etc. I run into so many regurgitators on a daily basis it's exhausting. Spitting out rote facts entertains the herd, but doesn't drive innovation.

Highlighting a shutdown performance by Tommy Henry (Michigan), the announcers left us with a huge takeway you need to hear. Check out my recap below for what you might have missed! (Hint: Finding consistency with routines.)

I had someone thank me today for starting Tread, & I wanted to pass along a thank you to all Tread athletes past, current, & future that continue to bet on us. It's been an absolute pleasure being a part of each of your individual journeys.

Reason I f*cking love Tread (and its guys): It’s an opportunity not to be the “I could have been” guy. Something powerful about either “I am/was or am not yet/wasn’t.” Best believe @pmurph_20 is on board with this. Witnessing something special unfold right before our eyes...

To anyone who has been consistently told his or her idea is crazy, stupid, pipe dreaming, off-base, backwards, not how it's done, risky, or some form of these... Keep going. IMO, the loss of originality is the only real failure in this game of life.

POST ALERT: Let's break down one of the most overlooked components of the pitching delivery - cervical mobility. Check out why it's relevant to your pitching delivery, how to self-assess it, and how to go about improving it! (Full video in thread!)

👀👀👀 - been a long time in the works. From an enthusiastic athlete, to a trainee, to a friend, and now a Director of Ops with us. What a ride that’s just getting started. 🔥 @TReklaitis @TreadAthletics
Some personal news: In a little more than a week, I will start a new position with @TreadAthletics, @treadwiz, and the crew in Charlotte! Really excited about what's to come for our athletes, coaches, and the entire baseball community.

‘Z’ is an absolute baller. Come across guys from time to time that are just made different, and he’s one of them. The best is certainly yet to come. 🚀
Little late announcing this but I’m beyond thrilled to be a part of the @TreadAthletics family. I was always told to never be the smartest person in the room and I’m excited to be pushed in both my playing/working career. Big things coming.... 🚀

Claiming a mis-read as a "peak" for any drill/exercise is an absolute disservice to your process. Your feedback is completely dependent on this. My recommendation: Round down, do it at least twice, & use reputable measuring tools. If you can't repeat it, it doesn't matter anyway.

@treadathletics Good luck to all of our athletes this exam week! Remember to deload off (if necessary!), get in as much sleep as possible, smash some calories (even dirty ones), and BREATHE. I'll love you regardless of how you do, but your parents might not. 😂
