    This was 13 years ago. The turning point. I was broke as hell, jobless, fresh out of drug rehab with a new kid. I just started learning to code, but had no clue where I was going in life. I still had a feeling that everything would be ok. Always try and be hopeful for the future

    I have been working on my challenges, algorithms & data structures course. 6-8 hours per day doing iteration, recursion, linked lists, binary trees, BST, time & space complexity, graphs & adjacency matrices/lists My brain hurts 🤯 You'll pass your interviews after this course

    Today my baby girl turned 15! Before she was born I was a drug addict headed for death or back to jail. She literally saved my life. She is my everything ❤️ Even though she is too "cool" to even give me a hug on her bday 🙄

    Many people in tech are cocky and arrogant, and act like they know everything. In my experience, the smartest people are the ones that don't have the constant urge to prove how smart they are to everybody. Instead, they are always looking to learn from others.

    My wife Jen is on day 10 of quitting smoking. I quit about a decade ago and have been nagging and begging her to stop ever since. She finally did. I just wanted to share that 😊

    I am the proud father of a high school graduate 👩‍🎓 and soon to be college student! It’s bittersweet because I am so happy for her but I also miss carrying that little girl on my shoulders. Yesterday I realized that out of my mother, father, sister and myself, none of us

    I just learned that my tutorials are used in a women's prison in Arizona. That just made my day 🙂 I love helping people, but especially in that situation. I know what it's like to be locked up and the fact that I could help them escape into my videos is the best feeling ever
