- As a former FBI agent, this is a big deal. We didn’t execute search warrants of this magnitude/scale unless we had a mountain of cause to back it up

- I am a teacher, a former FBI agent, and former CIA officer. NO I do not want to be armed and yes I have had a significant amount of training in firearms and feel comfortable around them. Using a firearm is not in the teaching job description, nor should I be. Period.I've received about a dozen emails from teachers, all saying the idea of arming them for classroom defense is delusional. Obviously this is a self-selected group, but has anyone asked whether, nationally, teachers want to be armed, or do they only want to teach?

- In 2017 I wrote that Trump would use the national security apparatus for his own personal and political gain. Case in point, item 1a on the FBI’s list of seized docs “info re: President of France.”
