THREAD 1/12 @HyNetNW wins Government backing for a multi-billion pound #hydrogen production and carbon capture hub close to the River Mersey. So is this a new & exciting chapter in our #netzero journey… or a ruse to prolong the use of fossil fuels? A simple-stupid explainer…

They planted a bomb outside Boots in Warrington the day before Mother’s Day and murdered Tim Parry, 12, and Johnathan Ball who was just three. Always remember this next time some plastic radical on here romanticises the IRA.
It is my son’s 45th birthday today. Another birthday he has not enjoyed with his family because of an indiscriminate IRA bomb. Tim has lived on through the charity and it’s peace building work and so his life has served 000’s of others. God bless you my son

Peter Sissons, who died today, on the far left of this pic, next to John Lennon and Jimmy Tarbuck in the Isle of Man in 1951. All three were pupils at Dovedale school in South Liverpool.

Fact check: All @jk_rowling tweets about Imane Khelif are still up. JK is on holiday.
