New for @TerraceEdition. Biggleswade United put their best foot forward in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round. Everyone gets stuck in for the Commoners, from chairman @GuillemBalague to the loyal team of volunteers. They represent the best of the cup. terraceedition.com/home-haute/big…

Over the hoardings, pitch slip, dodge the pyro, cupped ears, tosser sign, slip the stewards, stag leap into stand. 9/10.

Athletic Club fans in Seville for the Copa del Rey Final serenade a newly married couple. There's nothing like football to bring people together. Magic.

All football fans need is a roof and a basic stand to meet their mates and cheer their side on. Some toilets, a beer, a burger. Football grounds aren't airports, They aren't hotels, they aren't conference centres for marketing bods.

Bright and light-filled concourses and atrium. #SpursNewStadium

Scenes in the away end as Halesowen Town took the "Number 9" derby vs Stourbridge in a 3-4 win. Named after the bus route between the two. 803 Yeltz at Stourbridge. Could have been 5k for the noise. Viva the non-League game. Nothing touches it.

If your half-time entertainment doesn't include a lasso gauntlet run, is it really entertainment...

This is outrageous but whether you like or dislike the scrapping of 3rd & 4th round replays.. There are 732 clubs that compete in the FA Cup, where is the consultation with them and their fan groups? What teams are pushing this? There's more to football than the Premier League.
The changes have been triggered by pressure on the domestic calendar such as the expansion of European competitions.

Accrington Stanley's @AndyhHolt has granted @BlackpoolST request that the bulk of away tickets for the match at Stanley are sold direct to fans, minimising income to Blackpool's owners. Boycotting Blackpool fans plan a big day out at Stanley to show they are alive and kicking. 👏

Big news on VAR in Sweden. Head of the Swedish FA announces that VAR system will not be used there. Been rejected by fans groups + clubs says @sportbladet Could the same happen in England @FansAgainstVAR_?

Rarely impressed by new stadia but Estudiantes de La Plata's gaff, opened in 2019 has something about it. Those steep terraces at either end, distinct stands, even the corporate bit is done fairly sympathetically. Argentinians just get football don't they. 📸 @groundspotters

Stretford Groundside. 1988. Members: £3.00 entry Adjusted to inflation for 2024= £8.16 Kids tickets for members at United currently = £66. We need a government inquiry into football ticket prices. #mufc

My tears are drying My tears are drying Your beauty and kindness Made tears clear my blindness. While I'm worth My room on this Earth I will be with you. Sunshine on Leith delivered in full voice by Hibs at Villa. One of football's most emotive anthems.
