Matt Patricia. On his back. On the field. In the confetti. With his kid. After his last game at Gillette.

I think the Patriots were better when Brady was here.

It remains bizarre to me that Edelman grew up in Redwood City, 10 miles from Tom Brady's childhood home and that Edelman's longtime girlfriend was Jacqui Rice, daughter of Jerry.

Boos and chants of "Stand up!" As the anthem begins with a few Patriots taking a knee in front of bench.

Belichick, asked if there was a scenario in which Garoppolo would be named starter in Week 5, shakes head and mutters "Jesus Christ"

Dan Fouts just descibed the tackle by Jones as a "vicious hit on a defenseless runner" ... Allen is 238 pounds. He is a runner. He is still gaining yardage. Jonathan Jones is 183 pounds. Outweighed by 55 pounds.

You wrote this AGAIN this week? Uncanny.
Sorry Patriots Nation and Bills Mafia... Sam Darnold is the best quarterback in the AFC East right now. Story: trib.al/zZwNUIx

Tell me you don't know what you're talking about without telling me you ate paint chips as a kid.
Mac Jones completed two of three passes tonight. One was a screen. The other was an amazing one-hand catch on a wind-blown overthrow. When Brady was a first-year starter, he would've owned this game, as he did the driving-snow playoff victory over the Raiders.

In the end, a tangible effort by the Patriots to keep Tom Brady in New England never happened. No negotiation. Just the intimation that it was on Brady to say what he wanted. For Brady, that stance spoke volumes.

So this is a minor detail but it helps contrast the untucked, slap-it-out-there approach of one team and another that’s on the details. Players are supposed to be behind yellow line. Pats sideline. Browns sideline. Taken seconds apart.

Nick Folk is 10-10 on FGs this year with Titans, 2-2 outside 50. He was 32-37 last year with Pats and 4-5 outside 50. They decided to fix something that wasn't broken in same way they opted to move on from Jakobi Meyers. Uncanny ability to make the wrong decisions on players

My blood boils every time I see Jakobi Meyers make another catch. A good player who won't cost stupid money and did everything you asked is STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU FOR 4 SEASONS. Instead you say "no thanks" and bring in someone who's never done anything for you? Why? Why

Tom Brady and assorted teammates have provided more great television than anybody else who’s ever provided great television in television history.
