People keep saying this and I don’t know why, it’s obviously not true. Having good politics doesn’t make you charismatic or a good politician. For example: many of you are correct on the issues but are still insufferable and probably shouldn’t run for office!
IMO there’s really nothing extraordinary about Mamdani. He’s not some generational political talent, just a moral, smart, civic-minded guy. There are many potential leaders like that and this kind of excitement is the reason why the system does all it can to co-opt or crush them.
