- Time for that ~personal news~: Next week, I join The Washington Post as the Cybersecurity 202 writer. "Thrilled/excited" etc. don't begin to capture how I feel about this. It's been a dream since I was a teenager to work there.
- Personal news thread: I'm one of the folk who took the buyout at the Post. Sad that it played out this way, and I'll probably second-guess the decision for years to come. But it's not all bad. How many people get to say they achieved the dream of a lifetime, for however long?

- Hey everybody, big personal announcement. Perhaps you've heard about the news at @CyberScoopNews with @gregotto moving on and @jeffstone500 taking the editor-in-chief job. Well guess what? I'm going over there to become senior editor (with plenty of reporting responsibilities).
- My first time in the print edition and on the front page! (I almost cried. Almost.) Seems weird to celebrate given the subject matter but the prospect for justice in the case isn’t an unhappy development.
