If you’re a praying person, please pray for my family right now.

What’s the first specialty quarter of 2020? Not a joke.

I will never understand how or why Notre Dame fans bust the chops of the young men that play for us. They’re my students. And I support them winning or losing. #GoIrish

Say a prayer for my dad who has just been taken to hospital with COVID.

Please pray for my grandmother who is likely dying from COVID pneumonia. She’s lived a brilliant life. A long one. But it’s also likely ending. Prayers for her.

Catholics defending Putin is a weird thing to see.

I’ve been attending the reformed Mass since I was born. I’m tired of folks speaking about it as some dreadful carnival of misery. It sustains my spiritual life; if I am to be a saint, it will be because of the post-conciliar Mass.

Y’all I need you to pray for a family in our diocese. Terrible car accident. Mom and child in critical condition. One little kid passed away.

My wife saved this image for me. This very true image.

I’m going to host a secret conference of moderate Catholics. We’ll meet at an Applebee’s. All are welcome.

I received word from @NotreDame that I received an undergraduate teaching award. This means a good deal to me. Probably one of the biggest honors of my life. My undergraduates are the source of my research and my pastoral teaching alike. They're pure gift.

Today, I speak out vehemently against any decision against life by Trump. Tomorrow, I’ll do the same with Biden. This is the Catholic vocation. To witness to the integrity of the human person in the public square.
