    The reason there is "no water" available in fire hydrants in LA is because the water lines have been broken or burned by the fire, so there is no water pressure, in addition to low water pressure due to 8 months of drought. Resist politicized accusations and conspiracy theories.

    The filmmakers did some pre-release press, laughing about stuff in interviews & at first I thought, wow, they're heartless jerks, THREE PEOPLE ARE DEAD! but then all of a sudden it hit me & I was like "WTF it must be fake" but there was no "found footage" genre yet so, yeah, wild

    aww, bless 'em. I had one. Sweet Maggie loved snow and didn't mind rain too much. She also loved lounging by the fire, and flowers. She lived to be nearly 16.

    In addition, loss of power means that pumping stations don't have electricity which also is needed for water pressure. People blaming the Mayor (like racist ignoramus @elonmusk and the real estate mogul who lost the mayoral race) are just stupid, uncaring people with agendas.

    That happened to me IRL years ago; Father's Day in crowded post office & to ease tension from long wait I made a comment re: "how many of you are mailing a Father's Day card?" & a woman came over & said "my father just died of liver cancer & I really didn't need to be reminded"

    also, if your parents didn't go to college, they weren't as aware of all the college prep stuff, scholarships etc. I graduated 13th in a class of 365 but went to a state school b/c my parents didn't know how to find opportunities and my guidance counselor didn't bother to tell me
