    "benching" a player is not used correctly in CS:GO. A player is put on the bench temporarily, to be brought back at some point. He keeps his jersey on. Benched players in CS:GO are essentially sent to shower, get dressed, pack their suitcase and wait for the bus to pick them up.

    The changes Valve announced to the CS ecosystem will come into play in 2025. All competitions will be based on ranking/qualifiers from 2025 on. Implementing the vision Valve shared with us, weโ€™ve been working on adjustments to our events (our flagships are already there).

    The delay on yesterday's final EPL match was caused by a targeted external attack against individual players. After we identified the issue, the match could resume. We have taken several measures to mitigate this for upcoming matches, and have also relayed our findings to Valve.

    In these tweets last night, dead references a clip from a different match in a non-ESL event which was also discovered but which is not within our jurisdiction. The TO has been notified. The ban we issued was based on an ESL One Road to Rio match though, where a clip exists, too.
