My brother's childhood friend just inherited a modest suburban CA ranch home from his grandfather and now his boomer uncles arent speaking to him or his mom and are threatening to take them to court because they wanted to rent that home out, both are already landlords.

- Man this is so brutal, internet warrior-philosopher fascist cutting some coke into the shape of a swazi and arranging all his tough guy stuff just right for a cute photo. Wouldnt want to mess with Max Payne over here lol
- Replying to @JohnGuaido69It really kills me because both of the uncles are wealthy lawyers & landlords who own homes as well as rental houses & wanted another property for their portfolio; the guy who inherited it is like 32, works at the Post Office and had been splitting a 1bdrm apt with his partner.
- Replying to @mattakersmusicThis is just so foul. It makes me so upset to see this rancid greed play out in family after family. I try not to make this a generational thing because I dont think thats super helpful but in most cases I've seen of this happening it's Boomers doing it.
- Replying to @kalvan1917The grandfather died a few years ago and everything went thru and the kid and his partner just recently moved in. It sounds like grandpa foresaw this exact situation and made the will very clear and the uncles are huffing and puffing because theyre lawyers and thats what they do.
- bass missing from voice. unsure, hesitant, almost pleading head and eye movements. bad haircut. own father publicly announces he doesnt respect his son as a man. swishy little mustache. yeah, im thinkin the Soy Right is back
- Replying to @NickLylesComedytake the other $450 out of your stimulus and set it aside for your eventual federal prison commissary account
- Replying to @mattakersmusicMan he just knows what he likes. Knows what sounds good. He operates purely on vibes alone which is why he's paid tons of money to produce records by all of our biggest cultural icons. Nothing sus there to me.
- Replying to @KintsugisysI feel a similar way. If my mom doesnt need to sell her house for end of life care then I would prefer she mandate in her will that it should be sold so theres no possibility of my brother and I fighting over it.
- Replying to @geofflangdaleI'm trying not to make it too much of a generational hatefest since I know and have known plenty of amazing Boomers who I love deeply but man is it hard not to feel like the Baby Boomer generation as a whole truly let their children & grandchildren's generations down badly.
- yeah the dude is gay so what. you have a bad bunny profile pic, you should be pretty familiar with that sort of lifestyle
- For sure thats whats going on. But imo grandpa looked at the situation and likely knew what the uncles had planned and wanted 1. to give his grandson a shot at homeownership and 2. to leave his house to someone who would live in it and like it or not that was his prerogative.
- Replying to @alexnwonderlndNot the grandfather's fault at all, he knew his grandson would likely never be able to buy a home in CA so he willed it to him. It's 100% on the psycho, landlord lawyer uncles who are bitter and are accusing the other side of manipulating grandpa just cuz they didnt get their bag
