Today marks one month since dad choked to death, unwitnessed, at the nurses’ desk at Providence Manor - a lonely death. We celebrate his life but remember his death in calling for increased staffing, better pay, and more oversight in LTC in Ontario. Our elders deserve it.

Our hearts are broken at Regi-Notre Dame as we mourn the loss of Barb Megill, a wonderful EA, friend and colleague. Prayers are with her family. May she Rest In Peace and give a big hug to Chris and Maranda, members of our RND family reunited in Heaven. #RIPBarb

Enjoy being at the helm of this historic school, Mr. Melim. You will be awesome. Final RND tweet for me but know I am proud of all of you and cheering you on from afar. 🐾

What a powerful moment today after school. Student arrived in office having had heart surgery on the weekend. Still sore but this student had two main messages: he wanted to see us and he is still living. Gratitude. Kids never stop teaching me. Beautiful simple convo. 🐾

Shame on the decision-makers behind the scenes who have the authority to right this wrong but haven’t done so. @fordnation

The Regi-Notre Dame community prayed together (over the PA system) for the ongoing healing of Caleb and Will. And we’ll keep the prayers going. At. Marguerite Bourgeoys, pray for us and pray for Caleb and Will, especially. πŸΎπŸ™πŸΌ

Ran into a former student this afternoon in a store. He was one of those kids who sneaks into your heart during a tumultuous high school journey. He is excited to begin his first job in his chosen professsion, marketing. What perfect timing to remind me why we do what we do.

Rest In Peace, Maranda Mitchell, Gr 11 student at RND. We have lost a kind, generous and hard-working student and friend. Our prayers continue to be with Maranda and her family. The school will be open Monday, with the SMB Chapel available for remembrances and prayer at 12:30.

My heart is with all of the ALCDSB teachers declared surplus or redundant today. We need you in our schools and will do everything we can to keep you.
