- Ten years later I do my best, and often fail, remembering "be thankful for the next 5 minutes". Wishing you are blessed this Thanksgiving with life's two greatest assets.....Be Long Health and Happiness. Happy Thanksgiving!
- 30 years ago today, I lost my Mom to cancer. She died within 3 months of her diagnosis. Not much time to say goodbye. In her honor, I encourage all of you, call your Mom, thank her for the sacrifices & most importantly share how much you love her. Time is our most precious asset!
- If the capital gains tax rate is raised to ordinary income rates, it’s only logical to lift or remove the antiquated annual capital loss limit of $3,000 to ordinary income.
- Insecure people brag about their perceived success; secure people quietly help others achieve “their” success.
- 20 yrs later the details of what I witnessed at the WTC that late summer Tuesday morning Sept 11, 2001 are still vividly clear. However, I choose for now to keep those specific details to myself. What I will say is for one day, today, the country feels unified.
- Open the windows! My Italian grandmother from Queens taught us 40 years ago. Any family sickness, no matter the temperature, start opening windows. Not a closed window in the house today and she did make it to 99!
- Being professional, respecting others, and simply being nice doesn’t make you any less competitive.
- An amazing feeling when you wake to the anticipation of a very special day. One that is only possible because of the endless support from others. Thank you to everyone who helped ensure the reality of today’s moment.
