    this way of thinking is what’s wrong with the genre. Why can’t something just be contained to a single story? you don’t need to have all the information. just experience the story as presented, jfc

    there’s just nothing like it. even Ektachrome, which is still in production, can’t replicate this look. These photos are decades and decades old and hold up completely.

    I know all film development chemicals are bad for the environment. It all boils down to cost, unfortunately. Sales were declining therefore production was halted. Sad really. Technicolor was special, but man Kodachrome was something else. (At least for Stills). Holy grail
