- Gearing up to go to the ICE facility takeover I’m Tara - a Portland resident, photographer, and artist. I’ve been embedded in documenting the streets of my city in its decline for the past several years. Here’s a few of my early photos below

- Example of why we're having a shigella outbreak in portland: This person just pulled over in a vehicle with no plates and used the street as a toilet. I wasn't going to photograph it, but the guy I was talking to said people should see it. So here you go.
- Portland is run by captured ideologues, our ranked choice voting system is a disaster, the homeless addiction crisis is still on fire, everything is too expensive, crime goes unpunished, and we’re purging businesses Other than that, yes everything is fine
- According to my daughter, the teen girls on Pinterest are in complete and utter meltdown mode over Trump winning. Packing survival kits. Crying because slavery is coming back. What have people done to these brainwashed kids?
- At a Portland concert last night I heard a guy give the “every city is like that bro” to an out if town couple who had a rough experience in our city. The wife was like “no I work in downtown Detroit and it’s not like that.” I was there this year and agree. It’s much cleaner
- All four of my kids are being baptized at their request today in a beautiful Oregon River Kind of a special day for the Ghost family
- Some woman on my nextdoor is upset and angry that Portland has become a “literal dumpster fire” and is scared that people will be so desperate for change that they’ll be willing to vote for conservative candidates in the future Banging my head against a wall right now
- I will not forget the warzone Portland actually was, torn down and living in fear under bad leadership and ideologies in early 2020’s when people kept trying to tell me it was one city block and I grabbed my phone to show the truth.
- I got politically blacklisted from entering a Portland concert venue as an official media photographer. They saw my name and said I wasn't allowed in the door The open-minded west coast reigns supreme in its irony
