- Did you vote today? My grandma was born in 1916 with no right to vote. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was signed into law on August 6, 1965. Which meant she was 49 years old before she had a legal right to vote. At 102yrs old.. my grandma went to the polls today and voted๐บ๐ธ!
