Unfortunately, some of the crappiest comments on the impact of the #chineseapp ban are from some very experienced analysts & commentators in India. Come on, folks! Pause, think, reflect before you vomit all that ignorance out of your guts! China BANS every app from overseas!

Indian govt rejects @Tesla founder @elonmusk claims on so-called challenges. GoI sources say Musk is once again trying to put presure on the govt via social media. Officials reveal Tesla wants India to reduce import duties on cars without any commitment of producing in India. 1/2

Pakistan has benefitted from the closure of the Sterlite smelter at Thoothukudi, with its copper exports to China growing 5 times, at the cost of Indian exports. This is claimed by industry associations in an ad issued 3 weeks after the SC declined a plea to reopen the plant.

Owner of 30+ shops in Delhi's Khan Market under scanner for alleged blackmarketing and hoarding! Complain as much as you want about govts, but it is also the sad truth that it is people who are looting and profiteering. These are pigs who are the real evil in our society. 1/2

The #Phishing complaint is said to have been filed in Srinagar, Kashmir and not Delhi. (Sharing this to save the time of those colleagues in the fraternity who have dialed every single cop in Delhi Police cyber cell, EoW, Crime branch, traffic, special cell etc etc). #Harvard

Sources say Srinagar Police has refused to file a FIR due to lack of jurisdiction. J&K Police has asked the complainant to approach Delhi Police Cyber Cell, since the matter is of 2019-20 when complainant was residing and working in South Delhi. #Phishing #HarvardUniversity

Here's a sample of social media posts by several Kashmiri Muslims celebrating the cowardly murder of a 35-year old Hindu earlier today. •His family believed in 'Kashmiriyat'. •He was 5 years old in 1990 when hundreds of other Hindus were killed similarly in Kashmir. (1/n)

Other than territory that it covets, China's real aim is to prevent India's eco rise. Post Covid, China fears global biz will derisk & move out. China knows Indian eco will bounce back. It wants to create spectre of war, to weaken India's prospects as an investment destination.

The most tragic chapter in India’s tech history is that of the Semiconductor Complex Ltd (SCL), Mohali. In 1984, SCL started with a 5000 nm process, then leapt to 800 nm - global cutting edge, barely a year or two behind then leader like Intel. At that time, China and Taiwan

Fairchild founder Robert Noyce came to Bharat in 1964. License permit raj of congress did not allow setting up a semiconductor plant. Went to HongKong. Then founded Intel. Rest is history. Intel once again tried to set up a semiconductor unit in Bharat in 2005-06. Once again

At present, @Tesla can bring in cars in kits with 0% duty and assemble and sell them across India. Sources add India has a PLI scheme for automobiles, particularly EVs under which Tesla will get benefits if they produce locally. GoI will not bow down to any pressure tactics. 2/2
