- No softball team should be playing 5 games in one day, that’s all.
- We are looking for the best people and talent we can find. I don’t care what team you play on, what level you “should” play at, or what tournaments you play in. If you are the right fit and want to compete, we are interested!
- I realize other coaches may see it differently, but a “verbal” commitment is a commitment in my mind.
- What if I told you that you can get a camp invite, visit, or offer and it would still be there if you didn’t put it on social media.
- Strictly my opinion here: if you have the talent and do your work in the recruiting process, you can be on whatever team you want and still get to where you want to go.
- You’ll get your photo in our jersey when you decide to play for us.
- If you are more excited to post your commitment than you are to find the right fit, we aren’t for you.
- Yelling, screaming, and degrading players doesn’t make them tougher, it just makes everyone miserable.
- I say this only as a heads up for all potential recruits. It’s going to be tough to get out and recruit this fall as we are working with our own team, during the busiest time of our year. Keep sending schedules, but our priority has to be our team during this time. #BeaksUp
- There is too much travel softball being played in the fall, in my opinion only.
- I love seeing players who still play for the love of the game instead of the love of a scholarship.
- I don’t understand coaches who are angry with someone who turns them down. Recruits have to find their fit. Be happy for those who are happy. Do you know how hard it is for a young person to call and tell you they made another decision that was best for them? 🤷♂️
- I love where I’m at. D2 softball is far away (and hopefully will stay that way) from the NIL, me, me, me. Don’t get me wrong, if someone wanted to pay me for a photo, I would probably take it. Just glad to be part of what college athletics was supposed to be. Student first, TEAM.
