- I’ll never be ok with the level of creative theft that Black youth experience under capitalism. Whole “genres” built off the backs of Black teens who are now adults struggling to have basic needs met. Dance music is the absolute most guilty ‘genre’ for this.
- Correct me if I’m wrong, and this is an unpopular opinion but: When DOOM was alive NYC was not really claiming him like that? When Dilla was alive NYC was not tapping in. NYC did not really support the underground hip-hop coming out like Company Flow & Cann Ox? TBH…
