It's difficult for political news desks to be profitable by delivering us only our "vegetables" in terms of quality reporting on govt officials' actions and the related outcomes for the public So they give us a diet of fried foods and desserts — because that's what we click on

Good Lord, I am listening to an analysis piece on NPR that is examining what mass deportations would do to the construction industry in Texas. Where in the heck were these stories before the election?? But we got headline after headline parroting "Trump wins on the economy" tho

It's just becoming comical at the NYT political desk. Left excerpt: Harris economic policies not detailed enough Right excerpt next day: Harris's proposals too complex. Trump's "policies" are shorter, punchier, & easier to grasp 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

And then he ends with a condescending remark dismissing her expertise. Senator John Neely Kennedy of Louisiana is not only a terrible Senator for his state, he's an ugly, disrespectful man. And Fox News show bookers absolutely love him and gift him lots of appearances on air.
