    Listen, ALS takes so much from me - I can see it in my hands, my need for a chair, my face, etc. - but last night I got to feel normal, even beautiful, and those aren’t feelings I have often. Thank you for loving me, for the wonderful insanity of Y'all Ball and for singing

    Again, In honor of Lou Gehrig Day, here's my baseball story: At 25, I was warming up for a softball game when I first noticed the tremor and weakness in my left hand. Playing catch, rounds in the batting cage, and the game I had always loved were no longer activities I could do
