Disappointed with PM's speech yesterday. Wish he had started with expressing his regret for the humanitarian crisis India is facing ...collectively all of us have let down the poor but the valuable rung of our society. More heart and empathy would have helped

The game has started. In AP you can get covishield or covaxin for 2000 a dose. Black marketing has started.

Osmania hospital has flood waters in the ward, Bareilly hospital s roof collapses with a waterfall on patients and a Bangalore hospital has pigs roaming around the covid hospital. No wonder we are busy constructing temples. So much easier than managing govt hospitals. So shameful

Theres nothing called free lunch in de US.Nothing is free. Indians may have spent abt 500 crores on the Houston event. Wish they had invested that in India if they so loved this country..on schools, primary health care centres or skill building ?

In 1959 when in California a black child was not allowed into a school, The US President sent the US Army to enforce the law and got the child admitted. In India the GOI is unable to enforce the Supreme Court order. What a difference.

Unbelievable that IAS officers can go on "strike". They have constitutional responsibilities. How can they be so irresponsible? And the LG just looks the other way? Quite a bad precedent and yet another blow to the so-called iron frame holding the country together.

Govt of India has lost its credibility to say trust us. It's defence of an indefensible vaccine policy in the SC can be contested word for word. Hope SC sees thru it as only in vaccinating 70 percent of our pop in the next 4-5 months will we be safe. Everyday delay is costing us.

My sisters 3 day hospital bill in a little known corporate hospital shows Over billing by 100%. 1 thyroxin tablet that costs Re 1 has been billed as Rs 120! CT Scan is 20,000! Yet govt.refuses to enforce the CEA and wants to partner with such unethical partners.

Amitabh Kant at the World Economic Forum said that govt can't and so corporates must help in vaccination...wonder how india eradicated small pox. There were no corporates. Govt can't run schools. So NGOs should. Wish he had said what govt can do ? Anything?

Is it true that the BCCI earns ₹ 48390 crores on promotional rights but pays zero tax? Becoz it is a charitable organization ? Isn't that robbery ?

The vaccine policy announced yesterday is completely biased towards pharma companies. It has neatly shifted the confusion &chaos that will emerge from May 1st away from itself and towards the state governments to answer. Never seen such abdication of a fundamental duty.

Totally unprecedented that states issue global tenders for vaccines. It's bizarre. what are we conveying to the world ? Imposs to understand why GOI does not simply do what all govts till now had done...procure for govt -central and states...money can be shared as CSS if reqd.

A diisappointing budget 4 health & education. Need to remember that roads and ports don't make sense if people are illiterate and sick ! And such disdain for these human capability sectors after the trauma we have faced due to a poor health system is simply being irresponsible.

Never heard of this procedure of having NSSO survey data being approved by NITI Ayog....Niti is supposedly a think tank ..but they seem to be working like a super department. Quite amazing.
