Watching #SocialDilemma on @Netflix - and I am so dismayed: psychologist claiming increases in adolescent suicide and self-harm are because of social media. Incredibly unhelpful This is ridiculously simplistic and misses the complexity of suicide and self-harm. Jeez!

My heart breaks for #Sinead O’Connor & everyone who loses a loved one to suicide. We still aren’t doing enough to prevent suicide especially among young people. Suicide is one of leading causes of death among our youth - please shout this from roof tops so that more is done

Although I understand the need for the new lockdown measures, it’s vital that more resources are invested in child and adolescent mental health. This is urgent! I am really concerned about those young people who are already struggling. Inequalities are growing day by day
