So the retro 90s FPS that I've been working on since forever finally has a page up on Steam, go give it a wishlist!

The fuck is with people replying to questions with "I asked ChatGPT and it said..."
Nobody gives a shit what your damn hallucination generation machine says, you're adding fuck all to the conversation
Ads for games in the 90s were the absolute worst. You'd have a two page spread with no screenshots, someone making a stupid face, and a ransom-letter font saying "ArE YOu FuCKINg STUpID?", then a tiny little Yoshi's Island logo in the corner
Programmer: We can do anything with code these days! Fully destructible environments. Impossible spaces that fold in on themselves. Entire solar systems!
Artist: Cool! How do I make this slightly transparent object appear behind another transparent object?
Programmer: *sobbing*
Christ, I pulled Yoshi's Island out of my ass because it was the most wholesome 90s game I could think of, and the actual print ad for it is this shit-smeared monstrosity:
I dunno what the fuck their deal was. Like even on TV ads, you were lucky if you got a whole second of game footage and not the worst sketch comedy you've ever seen
Even as a kid I just wanted to see the fucking game and not some ad execs friends kid pretending to play a game
