hello so this kinda blew up. irl a lot of people I know have their canines shaved because they were too pointy according to their dentists. the point of this post was to see how actually common it was for people to keep their original canines. sorry if this seems like bait π

i know it used to be common practice for dentists to do this to kids who had really long canines. pretty sure my mom and dad also had this done. I asked because I was genuinely curious!
so Iβm getting a lot of people saying the tooth shaving happened during braces. I had braces and i also had this offered to me but I turned it down because I like my sharp teeth haha
people have em shaved as a kid sometimes! I was curious how many people had theirs kept sharp since a lot of people I know irl had theirs shaved. this was not supposed to blow up πππ
