Hedy Lamarr, one of the most prominent actresses of Hollywood’s Golden Age, dies in Florida. She was 85.
Lamarr was famous for her roles in films such as Algiers (1938), White Cargo (1942) and Samson and Delilah (1949). She also held several patents for mechanical inventions.
