This sucks. It never occurred to me that The Grobber would die. He was so ubiquitous and such a oner, from Elia's rant to ranting himself overnight on @670thescore, that this couldn't even be considered. You took him, God, and now you're gonna hear a lotta shit about the Packers.

Do I have this right? If the #Bears interview Ron Rivera in person today and Thomas Brown in person, say, tomorrow, then they would satisfy the Rooney Rule and be free to hire the wrong head coach at any time.

Matt Eberflus took the blame for the offensive impotence. Shane Waldron took the fall for it. Eberflus' message: I confess, he did it. Ryan Poles refused to fire the guy who's responsible. New people in Halas Hall, same smothering stench of stupid.

Has Eberflus been fired yet? Why not? How many more comically stupid decisions will he and his coaching staff get? Poles chose not to upgrade at coach last year, even after Eberflus' #Bears blew a record-tying three double-digit leads. Comically stupid begets comically stupid.

Matt Eberflus fired his OC less than a year after firing his first OC. At least the FBI wasn’t all over Halas Hall. Ryan Poles is protecting the guy making these comically stupid choices, which is comically stupid itself. Connect the dots with the cult of Trace Armstrong. #Bears
