This sucks. It never occurred to me that The Grobber would die. He was so ubiquitous and such a oner, from Elia's rant to ranting himself overnight on @670thescore, that this couldn't even be considered. You took him, God, and now you're gonna hear a lotta shit about the Packers.

Do I have this right? If the #Bears interview Ron Rivera in person today and Thomas Brown in person, say, tomorrow, then they would satisfy the Rooney Rule and be free to hire the wrong head coach at any time.

#Bears Fans Held Hostage, Day 2--Everybody's taking responsibility around Halas Hall except the inexplicably still-employed head coach who is inexplicably allowed to continue to make comically stupid decisions.

Wait, you’re saying the top @ChicagoBears stooges who brought you Phil Emery, Marc Trestman, Ryan Pace, Matt Nagy, John Fox, Andy Dalton, Nick Foles, Mike Glennon, Mitch Trubisky, Chase Daniel, Jimmy Clausen and Matt Barkley are going to pull off brilliance in Arlington Heights?

Matt Eberflus took the blame for the offensive impotence. Shane Waldron took the fall for it. Eberflus' message: I confess, he did it. Ryan Poles refused to fire the guy who's responsible. New people in Halas Hall, same smothering stench of stupid.

Steve Rosenbloom, your plane is boarding. Wait, what? trib.in/2E6o28f

Has Eberflus been fired yet? Why not? How many more comically stupid decisions will he and his coaching staff get? Poles chose not to upgrade at coach last year, even after Eberflus' #Bears blew a record-tying three double-digit leads. Comically stupid begets comically stupid.

Chairman Reinsdorf conducted an exhaustive search of Chris Getz’s office and finally found someone less qualified than the two guys he fired. This is urinating on #WhiteSox fans and telling them you’re spraying champagne. Good job, everyone.

Happy to help turn something ugly into something positive.
Just wanted to say a huge thanks to @steverosenbloom and all the hockey fans in Chicago who have contributed and supported the Fort DuPont program in DC. I appreciate all the support that I have received from my teammates and so many in the hockey community.

Here’s the deal: If @jon_greenberg ever writes that 10,000-word bio on The Grobber’s 50 years in radio, then @markgrotesports voices the audio book in Grobber’s voice.

Matt Eberflus fired his OC less than a year after firing his first OC. At least the FBI wasn’t all over Halas Hall. Ryan Poles is protecting the guy making these comically stupid choices, which is comically stupid itself. Connect the dots with the cult of Trace Armstrong. #Bears

#Bears Fans Held Hostage, Day 3: Why is Matt Eberflus still employed when half the team captains have questioned the focus, strategy and practices of the head coach who makes comically stupid decisions? I'll hang up and listen for my aynser.

Fire Pagano, Nagy, Pace, Phillips and George. Now. I mean, could this clown college possibly crap the bed worse without them?

The Choice (and remember, death is not an option): Mitch Trubisky quarterbacking your team or Dick Stockton calling your game?
