A 16 year old high schooler just ran 1:42.27. I have no words. This is the most impressive athletic feat in history. There are no superlatives. His performance makes high school Lebron look like nobody. Cooper Lutkenhaus take a bow.

50.37.... over hurdles. That's just insane. No way to describe what Sydney McGlaughlin-Levrone has done. How good is that? While running over hurdles, she would have been just 0.2 seconds away from qualifying for the final...in the flat 400m. Insane.

Kipchoge's world record goes down. 23 year old Kelvin Kiptum runs 2:00:35 Absolutely insane. New era in the marathon.

This is crazy... World-renowned expert on human performance, @DrMJoyner has been sanctioned by the Mayo Clinic. Why? Partially for stating there is a biological athletic performance difference between men & women. This is dangerous anti-science:

Let's clear this up. Going for a run by yourself outside (or with those you are living with) is perfectly fine. In fact, it is probably beneficial for your physical and mental health right now. Let's not demonize activities that don't risk the spread of disease.

For the runners out there: New VP candidate Tim Walz is a runner. And not too shabby. Looks like he's run: 6:17 road mile at 52 years old. 21:43- 5k at 49 1:47 half marathon at 51

How does this get published in Scientific American!! The first part is flat out wrong. The second part on pacers is a gross misunderstanding of elite running. This is just embarrassingly bad.

Eliud Kipchoge is the greatest of all time... in ANY sport. His domination in a major sport in the modern era is unprecedented. Over 17 marathons and 8 years, he's only lost two. Double Olympic Champion. World Record. Broke an insane barrier (sub 2 hours).

With the Coronavirus, sports are moving towards playing games with no fans in the arena or stadiums. Don’t worry, track and field has been preparing for this for years. No fans. No problem. Business as usual...

Three guys who came out of the NCAA, who train in the US with American coaches...just took the podium in the greatest 1500 ever... Not too long ago, no one would have believed that. Forget the Norwegian method...it's the American method that we need to be studying...
This is a BONKERS podium, you guys. LFG

This is where many of the best athletes in the world train. Just remember that when you think facilities are the key to athletic performance.

There's a 0% chance he makes the Olympics unless he runs for an obscure country Even if he got close to the Olympic Trials qualifying time it would be insane. I hope he gives it a go, though This isn't boxing, you can't put on a show. The clock tells the story
IShowSpeed has announced he'll be running the 100M dash at the 2028 Olympic Games

Imagine a 16 year old Sophomore in High School running... 200m- 19.75 400m- 43.88 Mile- 3:45.6 5k- 12:46 Those are the equivalent times to what Cooper Lutkenhaus just ran in the 800m (1:42.27) as a 16 year old. Insanity.
