    TEENAGER SAVES THE DAY Look closely at this photo. This student is the epitome of ‘The Good Samaritan.’ What he did was mature, quick-thinking and very responsible. So much so that he is being hailed a hero by one very grateful local mum. 1/4

    “I want the world to know about this amazing young man.I want him to receive an award for this.” Today he collected his Headteacher certificate. Heroes don’t always wear capes. They are ordinary, kind, selfless people like this teen & we couldn’t be prouder of him.❤️🙏🏼

    “He realised that I was in urgent need of help and he acted. Without him my son would have been in danger. THIS WAS AN ACT OF BRAVERY. “I went and met his parent and told her they have raised such an amazing young man with good morals.”

    He made sure the boy was safe and held his hand to reassure him and return him to his frantic mother. The mother was grateful to him for his help as she was worried her son would run into traffic. Adults stood by and did nothing to help her which distressed her too.

    She wrote to Mr McCormack asking that this student be rewarded and she wants everyone to know how he helped in a crisis.She wrote: “I am lost for words. There were adults along the way who were laughing finding it amusing but this boy helped.”

    The drama unfolded when the student realised something was wrong when he heard a woman screaming for help obviously distressed.Her autistic teenage son had bolted from her. He asked the woman if she needed help and when she said yes, he took off after the runaway boy.

    We are devastated to hear alumnus Sir David Amess has died from his injuries today.We are praying for his beautiful family & cannot believe such a kind & gentle soul has died in such a way. May St Bonaventure and all the choirs of angels come to greet him & guide him to paradise.

    EXCELLENT NEWS AS CAMBRIDGE COMES CALLING After the A Level results fiasco last week we have some brilliant news. Our 6th Form Headboy James Appiah is celebrating today after hearing he has been given a place at his first choice University @pembroke1347 Cambridge 1/2
